Dr. Balajee Krishna, having qualified and practicing orthodontics and Dento-Facial orthopedics since 1993. He is the first Orthodontist from the Indian Subcontinent to gain Active membership in ESLO – European Society of Lingual Orthodontics (Europe)/ Dr Krishna is a certified provider of INCONGNITO & INVISALIGN therapies in Adult Orthodontics and Invisible braces. He is passionate about NON-EXTRACTION treatment in Adults using SLENDERISATION in combination with Lingual braces or invisalign. He maintains a Twitter account @bracesin. He has lectured on dental health issues on various forums. He is on the expert panel of Wellness magazine and writes on Dental Health and Braces related issues.

Pioneered the art of Lingual Orthodontics or Invisible braces in the state of Kuwait since 2001. Has the unique distinction of being the first Orthodontist from the sub-continent to have obtained ‘Active Membership’ towards the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics (established in 1992). Trained under Drs, Dirk Wiechmann (Germany), Didier Fillion (France), Kyoto Takemoto (Japan) and Guiseppe Scuzzo (Italy). Working with the TAD and BPD devices developed by Dr.Peter Sheffield (Thailand).
Introduced the Invisalign therapy mode of treatment since 2006. These are invisible aligners which can be worn and removed during treatment. They are done using new technology software at Invisalign USA. Trained under Dr.Achille Parigi (Italy).
Comprehensive treatment management with regular Fixed Appliance therapy (Braces) with pre-adjusted systems 022 MBT and Vari-Simplex Discipline. Successfully implemented the use of Self-Ligating systems Damon Q and Empower.
New treatment options of Micro-screw implants. Trained to Dentos and Imtec Implants.
Emphasis on Non-Extraction treatment methods like Slenderisation or IPR (Inter-Proximal Reproximation).
Treatment with noncompliance systems like Pendulum and distalisation appliances in children. Functional intervention in pre-pubertal children with Frankell and Head gear mode of treatment.
Initiation of Preventive and Interceptive Orthodontic procedures to reduce later treatment to a minimum with the use of Habit breaking appliances, Expanders, Bite Plates and Space maintainers.
